Nepal condemns Bangla Attack

Kathmandu, July 3: Nepal has strongly condemned the terrorist attack at a restaurant in Gulshan area of the Bangladesh capital Dhaka.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa sent separate messages to their Bangladeshi counterparts on Saturday expressing sympathy and solidarity of the people and government of Nepal at this hour of national grief.
The Islamic State attack at the restaurant in Bangladeshi capital has left 20 hostages and two police officers dead.
Those killed were of different nationalities including Italian, Japanese, Indian, American and Bangladeshi.

Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina declared two days of national mourning on Sunday.
