PM Oli congratulates UK PM

Kathmandu, July 14: Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli Thursday sent a message of congratulations to Theresa May on he assumption of the office of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
In his message, Prime Minister Oli recalled the bicentennial of warm, friendly and cooperative relations between Nepal and the UK that both countries were celebrating this year and expressed sincere appreciation for the consistent solidarity extended by the UK to Nepal in its struggle for democracy.
The PM also expressed gratitude for the UK’s continued contribution to Nepal’s development endeavours.
“Nepal’s topmost priority today is the implementation of the constitution promulgated in September last year while expedition the most urgent post-earthquake reconstruction,” read the message.

As the country was engaged in laying the foundation for accelerated and sustainable economic development, he expressed hope for UK’s continued solidarity and cooperation.
