Kathmandu,
July 8: Panchakanya Group, Valley Independent Construction Association and
Madhyapur Thimi Municipality jointly organized a week long training programme
for reconstruction.
The training
was held at Thimi Municipality Office from 1st to 7th
July, and attended by 25 masons, contractors and other individuals related to
building construction.
Civil
Engineer Riwaj Khatri and Madhav Khatri from Panchakanya trained the
participants on quake resilient construction, quality of construction
materials, methods of building pillars, connecting pillars with the beam and
other techniques of house construction.
The training
was coordinated by Ramraja Basnet and Gopal Prasad Wagle.
