Govt condemns Nice terror attack

Kathmandu, July 15: Nepal has strongly condemned the terror attack in the southern French city of Nice on Thursday.
Issuing a press statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa sent separate messages of condolence to their counterparts – President Francois Hollande, PM Manuel Valls and Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault respectively.
President Bhandari, PM Oli and DPM Thapa expressed sympathy and solidarity of the people and government at the hour of national tragedy in France.

A terrorist, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, killed at least 84 people by knocking down with a hired lorry in a rampage during Bastille Day celebrations in Nice.
