MoF staff give Rs. 1.83M relief

Kathmandu, Sept. 3

The employees of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and its agencies have contributed Rs. 1.83 million to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund (PMDRF).

Through a statement they expressed deep sorrow over the significant loss of life and property caused by the devastating floods that struck Rasuwagadhi, the Bhotekoshi River and downstream areas of Rasuwa and Nuwakot.

Meanwhile, Nepal Vegetable Ghee Oil Manufacturers Association and its member industries have decided to contribute Rs. 10.1 million to the PMDRF.

Expressing belief that the concerned authorities will provide significant relief to the affected families, it said that it has extended the support in accordance with the principles of national unity, social cooperation and humanitarian solidarity in this time of need.
